CONSTITUTION DAY!

We the people...

Parents, remember Saturday morning cartoons?  You know, those Saturday mornings when we only received the 3 basic channels...the only day you could find cartoons on TV?  Remember the commercials in between the cartoons?  Well, this week we're going retro...back in time, to the "School House Rocks" videos!  You know, "The Preamble" and "I'm Just a Bill"?  Ask your child if they can recite The Preamble.

Students who can recite The Preamble from memory by the end of the day on Friday, (Mrs. Kepp's class has until Monday morning A.R. time) will receive 2 pieces of candy from the candy bucket and also be in the school recording.

WELCOME BACK

We're back! Wow! That was one hot and dry summer! It sure is good to be back. Hopefully, students were able to enjoy some good books while lounging by the pool.

REBECCA CAUDILL

This year's Rebecca Caudill nominees are flying off the shelf! Current 'HOT' reads are "The Strange Case of Origami Yoda", "Shooting Kabul", "How to Survive Middle School", and "Ninth Ward".

Don't forget to sign-up for one of the nominees...the lists are getting long!!
